Jarvis

Status: Active service dog

Jarvis is a fox red English Labrador born in August 2022 in Massachusetts from JJF lineage. He completed board and training at Freedom Labradors/Common Sense K9 under Chelsea Newcomb's instruction. With hips rated Excellent and elbows Normal, plus full Embark genetic testing, Jarvis exemplifies the health standards of our breeding program. After approximately 6 months of board and training followed by 18 months of obedience and public access training, Jarvis now serves as an active service dog. His specialized tasks include mobility assistance with forward momentum help, item retrieval, handicap button activation, bracing and support, deep pressure therapy (DPT), and locating family members during anxiety episodes. Jarvis holds certifications in Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), and Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU), and continues learning new tasks every day alongside his working partner, Goose.
